Many thanks to all who have been praying for the ministry since March, when we announced that the Lord had led us to close the Pierrepont centre. Having agreed a sale at the end of August, we are pleased to announce that on Wednesday 22nd November 2023 the sale was completed and ownership passed to RCCG – The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
We give God all the Glory for the way He has led the transaction and that RCCG will continue to use this centre for His purposes.
We are so pleased that the team at Pierrepont could finish well with a final NETS programme which ended in the middle of September. We give thanks to God for all He has done at Pierrepont since the work of Ellel Ministries started there in 1995. We give Him all the glory for every life saved, healed, delivered and discipled. We also want to express our deep gratitude to all those who faithfully served on team and as volunteers and for those who supported the work of Ellel Ministries at Pierrepont through prayer and financial giving.
We believe God led us to sell Pierrepont because He wanted to prune the ministry for a season of greater fruitfulness. Pruning, while painful at the time, is a necessary part of God’s Kingdom strategy which ultimately brings deeper strength and greater fruit.
The sale has meant that from a purely financial position the UK ministry has been strengthened by us being able to clear the significant debt that was on the UK charity. But it also strengthens us to move forward into an exciting new season – building greater relationships with the wider Church, enabling us to develop new online resources and investing in our three remaining UK centres. We are passionate about reaching beyond our centres to those who are hurting and also in training people in prayer ministry, and we will continue to bring God’s message of healing and hope to every person who seeks it.

It is a huge answer to prayer that we were able to sell Pierrepont to another Christian organisation – especially one which has such similar objectives as our own to see God bring salvation, healing and deliverance. The week before the sale completed we held a prayer meeting on zoom with leaders from RCCG and Ellel Ministries. There were over 100 people on the call from all over the world and it was a special time to hear the way God had led RCCG to buy the property and to be able to pray together. The following is a message from Pastor Leke Sanusi who is the UK Chairman of RCCG:

“It is with great joy that RCCG receives the trusteeship of the Pierrepont Estate. We believe that the Pierrepont Estate belongs to God, who in His infinite wisdom, has now chosen us in RCCG to keep the property for Kingdom purposes. In the same way Ellel Ministries was entrusted with the Estate for nearly 30 years, RCCG under the leadership of our General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye will continue the legacy of keeping it as a place of salvation and healing. Indeed, this purchase of the Pierrepont Estate by RCCG is a fulfilment of God’s promise to our General Overseer that He will give us a Campground here in the United Kingdom that is like the Redemption City of God in Nigeria, where multitudes go to worship the Lord, get saved, healed, delivered, and discipled to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
We hand over Pierrepont to RCCG with joy at all the Lord has done there since 1995 and with great anticipation for all He will do in the years to come. We bless our brothers and sisters at RCCG as they continue God’s work at Pierrepont.
