Ellel Pierrepont Update

A huge thanks for those who have been praying for the ministry since we announced in March that, after much prayer, we will be closing the Pierrepont centre.

Since March we have shown more than a dozen organisations around the property, and we are writing to let you know that we have now agreed a sale with a Christian organisation – RCCG (The Redeemed Christian Church of God).

First established in Nigeria, RCCG is a rapidly expanding denomination with over 870 churches in the UK alone and a presence in over 190 countries around the world. They have a real heart for healing and discipleship and are excited to be establishing their ministry at Pierrepont – building on what has been done through Ellel Ministries over the last 29 years.

We have met with the RCCG national leadership a number of times and have been impressed with their heart for the Lord, their humility and their faith. Both ministries are sure that God is in this, and we continue to work together towards the completion of the sale process. We would so appreciate it if you would keep this in your prayers.

Over the last number of months, the Pierrepont team have been busy holding the NETS programme and the Lord has been working powerfully in the lives of those who are attending. There is a group who recently returned from a mission trip to South Africa and the Lord did great things as they served, taught and ministered. The prayer of the team was to finish well at Pierrepont, and the Lord has certainly answered that prayer.

Please continue to pray for the Pierrepont team as they work through the processes of the centre closing. Some are staying within Ellel, others are moving on to new pastures, others are seeking the Lord for the next steps He has for them. We thank the Lord for each of them, and for all those who faithfully served the Lord at Pierrepont – whether that be as part of the team, as a prayer minister, as a volunteer or in practical and financial support.

We know this is a difficult time for some who are closely connected to Pierrepont as they process what is happening and we continue to pray for God to bring His peace.

We remain committed to the vision God has given Ellel (Luke 9:11) and are walking this path in faith in preparation for the season ahead. It is a challenging walk, and we so appreciate your prayers as we continue to seek His leading.
