The Lord has given us beautiful centres which serve as safe places to come to and receive deep healing. We are so grateful for the gorgeous building of Blairmore House which He has given us and has been a refuge for many. But buildings do need upkeep! We have several areas of our roof which need urgent attention so we can provide a warm welcome as well as prevent further deterioration.
Update – Jan 2023 – Amazingly we have already been managed to raise £45,000. So we’re looking to raise an additional £30,000 to be able to complete this project.

We have one large and two small sections of flat roof which have been leaking, and the skylights in these roofs have come to the end of their lifespan. We urgently need to replace these sections of roof to prevent things from getting worse.
As they cover several guests bedrooms the need is glaringly obvious as lack of proper covering means wetness and discomfort for the occupants! We already have the planning permissions and the contractors in place, now all we need is to raise the final funds so we can complete this project.
The prices of materials have shot through the roof and prices have nearly doubled since we first started looking at this. We estimate that the total costs will be around £75,000. We want to get this done before prices increase again.
Having renewed roofs will be a lasting investment into the buildings which serve their amazing purpose in the work of God’s Kingdom.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
