Serving the Body of Christ by offering personal prayer ministry to those in need and training people so that they can help others more effectively.
We are all on a mission! God has called each of us to love and follow Him wholeheartedly and to reach others with the good news of the Gospel. However, many of us are held back because of issues in our lives like past traumas, addictions, anxiety or depression to name but a few. Ellel Ministries exists to support the Church by offering events that teach about these issues and how to find healing in Jesus’ name. There are also opportunities to receive prayer for yourself so that you can find freedom and move boldly into God’s purposes for your life.
Choose from our many short courses and events held throughout the year and varying in length from half a day to a week.
The biblical principles and practical experience shared through the teaching will help you to better understand the reasons for some of the struggles you (or those you seek to help) may face. All courses on healing-related topics include a time for personal prayer ministry, providing an opportunity to receive prayer in response to the teaching.
Our longer training programmes are designed to suit you, whatever your availability, from a series of weekend events on EXPLORE to longer-term residential training on Impact, Flagship or NETS.
Each one will give you a deeper understanding of biblical truth and teach you practical keys for healing and discipleship. Applying these truths and keys in your life will open the way for you to be released, by the work of the Holy Spirit, from those things which have previously held you back. As a result you will find you are able to live your Christian life in true freedom, through Jesus Christ.

We get hurt. All of us. Some of us terribly. And when we do get hurt, it is almost always at the hands of others. We live in a broken world and people wound us, causing us damage and leaving us to handle the pain and problems resulting from the behaviour of others. The truth is, it is horrible to be the victim of somebody else’s bad behaviour. They’re the ones in the wrong and we’re the ones left with the broken pieces of a damaged life. It just feels so unfair. It is so unfair. We feel the need for our pain to be understood. We have a desire for recognition. We want to be validated that our suffering was real and significant and horrible. We want those who have hurt us to realise what they’ve done. All of us need empathy and compassion when we have been hurt. But there are so many different ways to respond to these things and not all of …

The heaviness was tangible. Tension from recent events hung in the air. A car bomb had exploded at the local market only the day before, killing the Chief Mufti and narrowly missing our team by minutes.

I could hardly believe what I was reading in a recent article in last week’s Sunday Telegraph. The article, by Marie Daouda was, essentially, a plea for a return to the Christian understanding of original sin.

There are many ways to get involved in this ministry from prayer support to volunteering. From supporting the work financially to serving on team.
Ellel Books on Healing
To live a full, healthy Christian life you will need healing along the way. Healing from injustices, against abuse, self-hatred, entrenched personal sin, broken relationships, rejection, destroyed trust, lost dreams, depression, loneliness. Sin and wounds can often be tied to even physical pains. The list of things that hurt us along life’s way can have a profound effect on our body and on our personality, decision making, and on our relationship with God and others. This is why Jesus came to heal the broken-hearted. His healing radically changes lives, and still does, today!
n David Cross’s A – Z Guide to the Healing Ministry you will find answers to almost every question you could ever have about the healing and deliverance ministries. This is much more than a reference book for occasional use – Peter Horrobin describes it as “a healing goldmine”! You will quickly get absorbed in David’s remarkable book. He writes in a way that draws you in and leads you on and before you know it you’ve soaked up a wealth of truth.
Through creativity, God deeply connects with our inner-most being. He touches the heart and transforms life. Fiona Horrobin tells the story of how the expression of creativity, accompanied by prayer, worship and biblical truth, can profoundly release people from the prison of deep hurts, wounds and pain. This beautifully bound hardback book is printed in full colour and contains over 175 photographs.
