2-Year Service & Discipleship Programme

Who this programme is for

This is an opportunity to serve for anyone aged 22 to 68 who loves the Lord and desires to grow in their relationship with Him.

We are looking for those who long to see God’s people healed and restored and come into the fullness of all He has for them.  If you are hard-working, conscientious, have a teachable heart to learn and grow, enjoy people and would jump at the challenge of team life – this could be just for you. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have prior experience in the job you are applying for but we do look for some kind of comparative experience and a level of interest and passion in the area you are applying to serve.

What will my two years look like?

Your working will be will 40 hours (this could be on a rota basis and could include weekends) and although it is hard work, the rewards of serving the Lord and seeing Him touch His people’s lives is highly rewarding! 

During your two years we will enable you to receive Ellel’s core teaching on our Explore programme – this will be an opportunity for you to look at your own healing needs and allow the Lord to challenge and minister to you personally. Explore will also equip you for helping others and strengthen you for wherever God leads you. Work day for all our Team, usually start with a group Praise Time which allows a focus on the Lord for 30 minutes.  There will be many opportunities for you to sit in on teaching and engage with our guests at our Centres in your own time as well as during work.

All accommodation and meals are provided for you. You will be allocated to your own private bedroom but may need to share a bathroom (Please note there are exceptions to this if you are under 25). We will provide a £50 a week allowance for personal expenses. We also give 28 days’ annual leave (this includes Bank Holidays) which can be taken on liaison with your team Manager. (We request all team to take 10 days over Christmas when the centre is closed).

We will train you in the role you have been given and encourage you to grow in your skillset in the department you are working. You will be encouraged to grow in your contribution to team life and personal discipleship – sharing devotions for guests, praying in groups and meetings, stepping out of your comfort zone and trusting the Lord! There will be a senior team member assigned to you as your mentor who will meet with you to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.

What will I gain from the two years?

We encourage all our Teams to embrace the richness and fulfilment in serving the Lord with like-minded Christians and seeing God at work in the lives of many people. If you have a heart to learn and grow, in your area of work, you will hopefully grow in the skillset within the department you have been placed, but also in your relationship with the Lord, knowing your service is part of a bigger Kingdom work of preparing God’s Bride for His return. You will also get a sense of fulfilment knowing what you are doing makes an eternal difference! We will give you a certificate at the end as completion of your 2 years of service and it will look wonderful on your CV that you took 2 years out to serve at a Christian charity!
