Practical Volunteers - Ellel Ministries UK

Practical volunteers are a huge help to us as we run our busy centres and we love welcoming people to join our team temporarily.

How you can help

We appreciate practical help in many ways, often serving in the house, kitchen, grounds or maintenance. There are many ways you can practically volunteer with us at Ellel.

Stay at the centre helping for a set period of time (from one week to a few months)
Commit to helping on a regular basis (e.g. one day a week, one week a month etc)
Willing to be contacted when help is needed

Whilst we really appreciate willingness to serve, for some roles formal certifications are required (e.g. chainsaw use, electrical work etc.) If you have certifications in any area and are willing to be contacted when we need help, that would be much appreciated.

Becoming a Volunteer

If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.

You will need to apply to become a Volunteer. Although the process is not as rigorous as a team application, it is important that we are confident you will enjoy your time with us.
