12 Reasons You Can Feel Welcome at Ellel Grange

Thank you for accepting me for who I am, not judging me for being unusual and unique.

Welcome, Teach, Heal (Luke 9:11) is Jesus’ model of ministry, and became ours – the welcome part is so important to us! We are always encouraged to receive emails of thanksgiving sent to our Ellel Grange team. We include the one below because there are 12 reasons why we hope you too will have the same “welcome” experience, when you visit one of our centres.

Just a word of thanks to the team.

I am always excited to go to Ellel and arrive very early. Sometimes not even sleeping after a shift driving straight to Ellel.

1. Thank you for allowing me to have a sneak preview at the activities before starting the creativity course. I am always very curious and excited visiting the centre.
2. Thank you for offering me a place to sit in the building beforehand, it makes me feel very welcome.
3. Thank you for the lovely meals, they are prepared with so much care and love.
4. Thank you for your lovely smiles receiving me with love and hugs, it means a lot to me.
5. Thank you for accepting me for who I am, not judging me for being unusual and unique.
6. Thank you for the lovely pots of coffee and biscuits always ready for me to enjoy. I really appreciate it.
7. Thank you for offering me a home away from home where I feel loved and welcome. I am always super excited to visit.
8. Thank you for encouraging me and listening to my complaints, praying for me. It means a lot.
9. Thank you for all the effort to get things ready before the creativity course.
10. Thank you for having so many volunteers there with different activities – it means a lot.
11. Thank you for preparing our rooms so nicely before time. I have no difficulty in getting a good, nice sleep there.
