Two Day Event
Friday Evening - Saturday Evening (Sunday Optional)
In light of the recent news about Ellel Pierrepont, please be assured that this course will still be running.
Some things in life impact us deeper than others. In fact, sometimes the things we go through can have such a profound impact on our human spirit that they shape the way we live, behave and relate to others, including God.
This course is designed to explore the function and purpose of our human spirit which brings revelation that opens doors to healing opportunities never explored before.
Based on biblical examples, we will look at how our human spirits can be damaged in various ways. It will also challenge our responses to this damage that can cause us ongoing hurt, pain and life struggles, often leaving us with a sense of constant inner distress and overwhelm.
Looking at how our human spirit encompasses our God-given identity, our creativity and the place of connection with God, this is a vital topic that can radically change how you approach dealing with the issues you face in life.
With this shift of understanding, Jesus can enter into the very core and deep places of our hearts to outpour his healing, bringing true and lasting transformation of our lives.
This course is part of our exciting Explore programme. You can join any Explore course individually, but to receive the full experience we recommend you register for the entire series of this life-transforming programme.
EXPLORE IS FOR ANYONE WHO…
…desires a deeper, closer and more meaningful relationship with God
…knows there are issues in their life which are holding them back
…wants to understand God’s plan for their own life so they can walk in it
…wants to grow in their understanding of healing so that they can help others
Friday: Registration begins from 4pm on Friday afternoon with an evening meal at 6pm, followed by the first teaching session at 7.30pm.
Saturday: The course runs through the day and the final teaching session finishes at 9pm. Accommodation Saturday night is optional.
Sunday: There is no teaching on Sunday morning, but breakfast is available with guests departing by 11.30am.
On arrival you will be welcomed by our reception team! If you are staying overnight, you will be shown to your accommodation, given details about the event such as mealtimes or where the teaching sessions take place. Our team and event hosts will be around if you have any further questions after arriving, and to help you feel at home during your time on the event.
Yes, there will be free time! How much free time you get depends on the length of the event, but there will always be opportunity for you to take a walk in the beautiful grounds, to chat with other guests, or take some time to yourself. For longer events, there will be free days where you can explore the local area, or rest.
This is a totally understandable question! A majority of guests on our events come on their own, and don’t know anyone else, so you won’t be the only one! Occasionally, some of the guests may come together, but it doesn’t take long for people to start chatting over mealtimes or coffee breaks and get to know each other.
If the event you are on offers time for prayer ministry, then you will have the option to have time with our trained ministry team. This in an opportunity for you to share what you would like prayer for. Prayer ministry is always confidential, caring, and considerate. For further information on how we minister see our Best Ministry Practice.
I arrived “knowing” I was a son in my head and I’m leaving knowing I’m a son through and through in my heart too. He is the father I’ve always looked for.
When you arrive for the course you will receive a printed booklet. This provides the teaching notes that will be covered during the event but also gives further questions for those who want to study the topic further after the event.
During the course there are six teaching sessions which cover the following topics:
I was able to accept myself and God started to restore my identity.
