We live at a time when claiming one’s human rights has become part of the mindset of many people throughout the world. In this conference we will explore this pervasive ideology, a belief that every human being has certain innate and inalienable rights. Although very well-intentioned, this ideology does not actually agree with the Bible and it can have significant consequences in both the world and in the church, in particular by challenging the need for people to truly acknowledge sin. The purpose of this event is not to advocate a political stance but to express a desire to faithfully pursue the ways of God’s Kingdom.
