About the Course

Restoration Weeks combine teaching and prayer ministry, designed to build you up, bring God’s healing and enable a more intimate relationship with God. Ellel Glyndley Manor runs four different Restoration Weeks every year, each having a different teaching theme woven in.

THE MEN’S WEEK

This whole week centres around the goal of finding God in a new way, of discovering a Heavenly Father who is strong and loving towards us, and of being set on a new course in our lives, dedicated to Jesus and living life to the full.

Each day begins with teachings on relevant topics such as sexuality, temptation, stress, anger, father issues, and relationship struggles. These sessions are led by experienced speakers who offer biblical perspectives and practical insights.

As well as the teaching sessions, there are small group discussions, personal reflection times and prayer ministry opportunities where men can share their struggles in a confidential and supportive environment and have prayer from members of our team. These times of sharing allow for honest and open conversations about the challenges of life and give space for God to break through.

Evenings are for fellowship which includes BBQ and bonfire evening (weather permitting), where men can unwind, share stories, and enjoy meaningful conversations. Delicious meals are served, providing nourishment for both body and soul.

Throughout the week, there is a balance between learning, reflection, and recreation, fostering growth, connection, and spiritual renewal among the men who attend.

The Week's Format

Personal restoration requires a gentle process and takes time, so we run a week-long event focussed on taking you into a deeper relationship with God. It gives you the time and space to refocus on God and for Him to work in and through you. There is a way to move forward in your life and walk with God unhindered, and this week aims to build your faith in Him as your provider and father.

The first three days of the Restoration Week centres on teaching and times of fellowship. This time includes a unique experience via our Ellel Ministries creative workshops, which for many has been a wonderfully effective part of their inner healing process. After a free day for rest and assimilation of the teaching, the second half of the week is made up of shorter and more specific teaching sessions with the opportunity to receive personal ministry.

Allow Jesus to minister to places only He and the Holy Spirit can reach, to open the way for true healing. In Christ, we have full hope of His healing and here at Ellel Ministries we have received testimony after testimony of lives changed! God is faithful. Come expectant, to receive God’s love in your life over this special Restoration Week, available at our centre at Ellel Glyndley Manor.

WHO ARE RESTORATION WEEKS FOR?

Any Christian looking for answers to their brokenness and yearn inner healing.

For those looking for insight and personal ministry on the subject of our current topics.

Ideal if you have limited time to take away from family or work commitments.

Anyone looking for a follow on from a healing retreat (but not a requirement to join this course).

Protecting our guests and helping everyone feel at ease

In the current world situation with Covid-19 it is our responsibility and heart to keep all our guests and team safe.

We agreed as a UK Leadership that we would follow the Government guidelines for each country and bring changes to procedures in-line with their advice and guidance. Below you will find the procedures we have in place in accordance with the new guidelines issued this summer.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members is always at the forefront of our minds. We are confident in the operating procedures we have in place, but we are more confident in the faithful God that we all serve. Nothing can replace the importance of prayer and trust. He is the One we look to be our guide and our shield throughout these days!

Be assured – all our teams are working hard to keep you safe, but we are also praying hard! We love nothing more than hearing how welcome and “at home” our guests feel, and we cannot wait to welcome you back. Our prayer is that you feel just as ease and able to relax and enjoy the Lord’s presence as ever.

With many blessings
