Residential

We are looking for a mature Christian to join our community. This will involve both spiritual activities at the centre alongside practical hands on work as part of the Communications Team.

Christian Involvement

Given our ethos as a Christian community, applicants are required to be Christians and have a heart for the healing ministry. Participation in our Christian community and performance of religious devotional duties are an essential aspect of this role and include daily team prayer and worship meetings. You will also have opportunities to grow in your Christian faith through regular attendance on teaching courses through our Two-Year Discipleship Programme for your own personal development and to receive prayer ministry.

Other opportunities may include welcoming and/or hosting guests to the centre; training in prayer ministry and opportunities to share short devotional messages with the team and/or guests on events; opportunities for teaching and/or group leading during events with guests.

Practical Roles

The Social Media & Content Creator will be responsible for enhancing the presence of Ellel Ministries UK across our social media platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This role involves creating a variety of engaging content, including photography, design, and videography, as well as scheduling posts, collaborating with Communications teams across different sites to generate content, and analysing engagement data to refine social media strategies.

You will work closely online with our Communications team (who are remote) to produce content that aligns with broader digital marketing campaigns while also fostering a relational connection on the ministry’s platforms.

A large part of this role will be photography and videography, so camera skills are essential. An eye for design and experience in social media content creation, along with basic design and video editing skills, is required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

A passion for using social media as an effective platform to raise awareness about healing & discipleship is key, and you must be willing to work closely with the Communications team to ensure that the heart of the ministry is reflected through our social media content. You will need to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to effectively prioritise your workload.

This role will be combined with a role in another department (for example; kitchen team, reception team) to create a full-time, live-in position and is a fixed term for two years as part of our Service and Discipleship programme. It comes with full board accommodation (private bedroom and shared kitchen, bathrooms and living areas) along with an appropriate allowance to cover personal expenses.

Please send in your CV and creative portfolio as part of your application.
