Would you consider taking a year or two to be a part of our live-in team, focussing on team support and occasional hospitality duties? The role includes:

• Warden duties
• Team encouragement
• Overseeing volunteers
• Occasional washing up duties
• General hospitality care of the centre
• Joining the team in prayer and worship

We are looking for wardens who love God first and foremost and will be a prayerful, encouraging presence within our team. You will enjoy spending time with others, be willing to serve flexibly as needs arise, and be able to remain calm in an emergency. You will also be proactive in noticing what needs to be done and where people may need practical support.

Whilst the role is open to anyone interested, it naturally lends itself to a retired couple, people looking for a more relaxed work-life balance, or those wanting a career break for a couple of years. This is a fixed term role of up to two years.

In return, you will receive full-board independent accommodation and £50 per week. Living at Ellel Grange, you will be an integral part of the team, whilst also having plenty of time to explore the beautiful local countryside and enjoy being a involved in team life.

You will need to be able to work closely with others ensuring a high standard of efficiency, including undertaking domestic and practical tasks in the house in preparation for and during courses and events. Ideal candidates need to be physically fit and able to carry out work methodically where required. Good communication and people skills are vitally important.
