COVID-19 POLICY
This policy was last updated on 23rd September 2021.
With the easing of national restrictions across the UK in the summer of 2021, we wanted to update you about the changes we are making at our UK centres. Please note that current restrictions will slightly differ at Ellel Scotland.
Health and Safety procedures that will stay in place:
Face Masks
The wearing of face masks will be optional for all guests and team. In Scotland, masks are still required in public areas and while singing.
Meetings and Worship
We will be returning to normal seating arrangements in our conference rooms and singing will be allowed by all present during times of worship.
Accommodation
We will be returning to shared bedroom accommodation at the centres.
Track and trace
As all of our guests are required to pre-book and register on arrival at the centre, we will have an accurate record of who is present. We also have the NHS QR code to register your visit for those using the NHS app in England.
Protecting our guests and helping everyone feel at ease
In the current world situation with Covid-19 it is our responsibility and heart to keep all our guests and team safe.
We agreed as a UK Leadership that we would follow the Government guidelines for each country and bring changes to procedures in-line with their advice and guidance. Below you will find the procedures we have in place in accordance with the new guidelines issued this summer.
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members is always at the forefront of our minds. We are confident in the operating procedures we have in place, but we are more confident in the faithful God that we all serve. Nothing can replace the importance of prayer and trust. He is the One we look to be our guide and our shield throughout these days!
Be assured – all our teams are working hard to keep you safe, but we are also praying hard! We love nothing more than hearing how welcome and “at home” our guests feel, and we cannot wait to welcome you back. Our prayer is that you feel just as ease and able to relax and enjoy the Lord’s presence as ever.
With many blessings
Andy Taylor
UK & Ireland Director
From the minute you step through our doors you can be confident that we have prayerfully and practically prepared the building for you.
In line with Government guidelines it is optional whether team and guests want to wear a face covering. We are also not enforcing social distancing at our Centres. In Scotland, masks are still required in public areas and while singing.
Our team members are brilliant, and their safety and wellbeing is of utmost importance to us. To ensure this we have adopted the following safety measures. Again, we will adapt these in line with guidance, but we want our team to feel confident and comfortable being at work and for those who live on-site.
It goes without saying that, as much as we can’t wait to see you, to keep everyone safe we need your help…
