HOPE Conference

Life can be a struggle in many different ways.  Questions stir in our hearts and minds – Why do bad things happen?  Why me? Where is God in all this mess?  Does God even care?  Is this the best I can expect?  Change seems impossible, hope a mere illusion.  We can feel disillusioned and underwhelmed by our faith, wondering if God will ever break through our deepest needs.

This day is all about hope, healing and change for anyone who is willing to believe that God may be the answer and how he wants us to thrive in life, not just survive life!

Using the Scriptures, the day aims to bring a deeper understanding of how things go wrong in our lives, how God wants to rescue us from the issues of our past that continue to affect us today, and how he genuinely cares.  We’ll discuss how we have responded to struggles and pain, and how we can become entrapped in behaviours, habits, fears, insecurities, and coping mechanisms.  We’ll also explore how we can forge a new pathway forward to break free from the things that hold us back into a life of hope and freedom.

There will be short biblical teaching sessions and open panel discussions on some of the tough topics we face in our lives, as well as opportunities to receive personal prayer from our trained ministry team.

This day is about hope – hope that there is more to life than the status quo or enduring, hope that God can and will break through the issues of our lives, and hope that we can experience the abundant life promised to us.
